***Public Notice: Community Under Construction ***
Teacher appreciation week is next week and our theme this year is “Community Under Construction”.
This is not to say our community needs fixing, but more so to highlight the ceaseless colossal efforts of our faculty and staff to continually maintain, grow and solidify our community at Brookvale. Each student and family are unique integral parts of our community and we’re grateful to have the Brookvale team here to continuously steward the brightest of futures for us as a community.
Here is our agenda for the week ahead:
Monday 5/8: Families bring flower(s) and a handwritten Note/card. This can be from the student AND parents
Tuesday 5/9: PTA Lunch
Wednesday 5/10: PTA tba
Thursday 5/11: PTA Pie and Coffee
Friday 5/12: Families bring a gift
Remember gratitude can be expressed in many ways and we’re here to help organize that. We hope that everyone is able to participate next week — as we all know, they deserve it!
The Candle Lighters will be opening their annual Ghost House from October 13th to October 30th! We have just confirmed that next Tuesday, October 18th, is Brookvale Night! Our school counselor, Victoria Tanaka, and our school librarian, Alexondra De La Rosa, will be dressed up in costume and mingling with the crowd! The Ghost House is located at the Fremont Hub (right next to Chili’s) so check it out! For more information, please visit their website:
