Become a PTA Member

Become a PTA Member

PTA members help shape the various PTA activities and decisions which directly benefits our students and teachers. All family members, including students are welcome to become Brookvale PTA members and attend our meetings. However, only adults can vote on Brookvale PTA decisions at the meetings. If you were a PTA member last year, you will still need to join this year.

Memberships are $10 per member.

Your Brookvale PTA membership includes a membership in the California State PTA as well. As a member of California State PTA, you advocate for children, promote parent and family involvement in schools, and improve the lives of all children and families. Here are a few extra perks of membership available exclusively to CAPTA members.

Brookvale PTA uses Konstella (CODE: tELklf) to communicate with members and volunteers, organize committees, share information on PTA programs, and generally let parents connect directly with the PTA board and with each other. We encourage all parents to sign up. (If you have a Konstella account from last year, you do not need to create another).

We also invite you to our online community at www.facebook.com/BrookvalePta/ to connect with other Brookvale parents.

Brookvale Elementary PTA Officers

Dear Brookvale Families,

Dear Brookvale Families,

On behalf of the Brookvale PTA, welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! We are a parent-volunteer led, registered non-profit organization. Our goal is to enrich our students’ time at Brookvale Elementary and assist in efforts to solve school needs through volunteering and funding. Our focus for some years now has been student enrichment through arts, S.T.E.M., cultural awareness, and health and wellness programs. In the coming year, here are some of the things that we have planned for our school.

  • School Assemblies (S.T.E.A.M., and fun!)
  • Teacher and Department Grants
  • 6th Grade bus for Science Camp
  • Reflections Arts Program
  • Teacher Appreciation Week
  • Family Movie Nights
  • Brookvale Talent Show

There are a number of ways that you can support Brookvale students throughout the year. This includes becoming a PTA member, volunteering opportunities, and donations. Please take a brief moment to look through this packet, which includes information about our upcoming Ice Cream Social, Welcome BBQ, Calendar of Events for the school year, membership, communication sign-up, and ordering Brookvale Spirit Wear! We invite you to our online community at www.facebook.com/BrookvalePta/ to connect with other Brookvale parents.
