Teacher Appreciation Week (TAW)
May 6th to May 10th
All events are for both teachers and staff. The theme is “Under the Sea.”
Sign-Ups are available on Konstella. Parent volunteers are needed to:
- Provide food for Potluck Luncheon.
- Provide dessert for Dessert Day.
- Decorate staff lounge and P2.
- Set up and clean up at food events.
Events and ways students and parents can participate:
MON 5/6 – Bring a flower(s)
TUES 5/7 – Bring in “Parent Note of Thanks” card (download a printable PDF)
(Info coming home in Thursday folders on Thursday 5/2)
WED 5/8 – Class keepsakes (done in class) presented
THURS 5/9 – Potluck Luncheon sign up
FRI 5/10 – Bring your teacher a gift
This year we are not holding a raffle. Please spoil your teacher and staff member(s) of your choice!

Free Admission
Please bring change if you wish to purchase snacks, drinks, or pizza. Proceeds benefit 6th Grade science camp.
Don’t forget to bring your pillows, blankets, or lounge chairs.
Children are not to be dropped off. Parents must accompany their children at all times!

Brookvale PTA is sponsoring An Afternoon of Hands-On Science Experiments for Grades K – 5
All Brookvale students (TK-6) are welcome to attend. The curriculum is geared to grades 1-5, but can be enjoyed by all.

All students must be accompanied by an adult. No food allowed and no food will be served. Rules follow the guidelines of the community center.
