The Founders Day nomination forms are due this week. This is the way to nominate those volunteers who you think make a great difference in Brookvale – the school and community at large. There is a box in the office where you can place the nomination forms. You can pick a copy of the form from the office or download it here: Founders Day nominations.

Tomorrow morning from 8:10 am to 8:30 am we will be accepting entries for the Cultural Fashion show that will be part of the International Week. The forms went out in last week’s Thursday folders. You can also find the form attached to this email.

We are still looking for volunteers to lead hands-on cultural activities on March 3rd and March 6th. Please contact pri_mall@yahoo.com if you can share a dance/song/game or any fun activity with the many classes.

Nomination forms due before February 18th.

Brookvale will celebrate the PTA Founders Day on March 11th. Look for the nomination forms in your Thursday folder or download here. Please use this form to nominate individuals who have gone above and beyond for our Brookvale students (The nominee should be recognized for outstanding service to children and youth and not for routine, assigned responsibilities or for retirement.) Please return the form to your child’s teacher or to the office BEFORE February 28. The nomination committee will select the final awardees.

Brookvale’s own Advay Chatterji was selected to represent the Musical Composition category for Reflections competition at the STATE LEVEL! This is an incredible accomplishment to have students from our school go this far two years in a row! Go Brookvale! Go Advay!
