Red Ribbon Week – October 27th through 31st
Brookvale is observing Red Ribbon Week from Monday, October 27th through Friday, October 31st. Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol and tobacco prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States.
The student council is sponsoring theme days throughout the week. Be sure to check the posters around the school so your child can participate in the theme days.
Halloween Parade – October 31st
Get ready to show off your best costumes on Friday, October 31st! The parade will begin at 9:20am, and students will make two trips around the school including the bus loading zone area in the front of the school. Parents are welcome to come watch and take pictures.
Don’t forget, Friday, October 31st is also an early release day. School will end at 1:40pm.
Reflections – November 7

Rubrics training – October 20
You are invited to an informational meeting to learn about the new rubric grading system for grades 1 through 6, and the new report card being used this year. Please join the Director of Assessment for FUSD, Dr. Jan March, in the MPR on Monday, October 20th from 7pm to 8pm.
