Come enjoy Brookvale’s free family movie night on Friday, September 25th. We will be showing Hotel Transylvania at 6:30pm in the MPR (doors open at 6pm). Bring blankets, pillows, and (low) chairs to sit on. We will have popcorn, pizza and hot dogs and other snacks for sale (proceeds benefit Brookvale PTA). We are looking for parents who want to help with food concessions for the evening. Please show up a few minutes early. Thank you!

2014-2015 BROOVALE PTA SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

Each year our PTA awards two Brookvale Elementary School alumni a scholarship in the amount of $750. Seniors at American High School who attended Brookvale from first through sixth grade are eligible to apply. There are plagues hanging in the school office with pictures of all our prior recipients.

This year’s very deserving recipients are SHELBY CASEY and RHIANNA SOARES. Shelby is attending Cal State Chico and majoring in Speech Pathology and Audiology, while Rianna is attending St. Mary’s Collecge and majoring in Biology, Pre Med. We are very proud of these former Brookvale students and extend our congratulations to them!

If you know of any qualifying seniors this year, encourage them to check with the Career Counselor at American High and apply.

Come by and visit the Brookvale PTA booth at Back-to-School Night at 6pm in the MPR. We’ll have hand-outs and board members to answer all your questions!
