All the classes did an awesome job of walking, and had lots of fun. The Brookvale Bronco showed up in person to surprise the Kindergarten and TKs. Even some 2nd graders had the opportunity to rub hooves with the Bronco. Hopefully, the Bronco will make an appearance again soon!
A huge thank-you to all the volunteers involved in both preparation and helping on the day of the event: Trina Morales and her sons for getting the pledge packets ready; Elizabeth Long for making sure everyone warmed up and stretched before walking; Robyn Taylor and her daughter Rachel for getting the lapcards and the lanyards ready; Jeanna Roberts for manning the station and giving us a break; Eric and all the other dads who showed up to help; Hannah Hall for gathering all the food donations from the classrooms; Salil, for staying with us from the morning till lunch time; and many, many others!
Thank you to all the parents who brought food donations. Your generosity was such that we had a surplus of Goldfish and were able to replenish the emergency food reserve for each classroom as well.
And last we want to congratulate our first time Bronco Gallop Chairperson Ellie Elson for keeping us all organized and for a smooth Bronco Gallop Day. Great Job Ellie!
